Use the 'silent e' tile

You can use the 'silent e' tile to build words containing a final letter 'e' that is used to change a short vowel into a long one. To use it, just press on it like any other letter-sound tile. Note, however, that when you do, or when you move your finger over it in a word, the mouth won't articulate a speech sound:
